My name is David Michaels, Managing Director of Lexington International. I began using Laser Therapy for my hair in August 1999. I purchased my first laser from the Laser Hair Clinic in Sydney, Australia.

At that time, I was 35-years-old and experiencing thinning hair, and all of the challenges and frustrations that accompany this condition, for the previous five years.  I tried topical solutions, but I found them to be very inconvenient and they made my hair look greasy.

Soon after I started using the Laser Therapy, my hair started to look thicker and fuller and appeared to be in much better condition.

I was so amazed at the results I received that I developed a relationship with Henry Pearl, the founder of the Laser Hair Clinic, who was a pioneer in the use of Low Level Lasers for hair. Together we decided to develop a device for home use that could be promoted worldwide, which eventually evolved into the HairMax LaserComb™.

Lexington International, LLC was established in 2000, in Florida, to develop Low Level Laser Therapy devices that are hand-held, user-friendly, safe and affordable. Our first product is the HairMax LaserComb, which has received great interest and support from the public, press and medical practitioners. Our core focus is to assist as many "hair-challenged" individuals in the U.S., as well as, worldwide as possible. Positive customer experience as well as user satisfaction are our primary goals.

We are fascinated with the potential of Low Level Laser Therapy especially its use for hair. Low Level Laser Therapy has been widely used internationally since the 1960s and is just starting to be recognized in the U.S. Over time, we believe you'll be hearing a lot about the HairMax LaserComb in the U.S. as well as internationally. Our HairMax LaserComb is the first consumer Low Level Laser device to be sold to the general public in America.

The HairMax LaserComb patent was approved in 2000 and the first units were sold to the public in March of 2001. To date tens of thousands of HairMax LaserCombs are in use in over 69 countries. User satisfaction is significant and we have made friends with many of our customers. And as a person who was very stressed about his hair condition just five years ago, I can now comfortably state that "I really feel good about my hair!"
